Del Monte launches new fruit-based drink in India news

Processed food and beverage brand, Del Monte has launched a new fruit-based drink especially for the Indian market, adding to its portfolio in the country.

Del Monte's Four Seasons Fusion is a combination of pineapple, mango and guava flavours. With the launch, Del Monte now has eight different SKUs in fruit drinks with six flavours in 240ml cans and two in 500ml PET.

The new flavour will be available in a 500ml PET bottle, priced at Rs28.

Speaking about the marketing plans for the new drink, Yogesh Bellani, business head, Del Monte, foods business, FieldFresh Foods, said, ''We are currently focusing on availability across regions and channels, supported by creating awareness and generating trials through on-ground activations ahead of the peak beverage season followed by advertising.''

Del Monte Four Seasons Fusion is the second product from the Del Monte fruit drinks portfolio to be manufactured in FieldFresh Foods' manufacturing facility after the recently launched Del Monte Mango Splash.
