UP government goes for Lotusnews

The Uttar Pradesh government has announced a strategic partnership with Lotus Development Corporation for solutions specifically developed for government use. These solutions will be on Lotus Domino and Notes platform.

The state minister for information technology, Mr Raja Aridaman Singh and the secretary for Information Technology, Dr. A K Gupta announced this at a function in Mumbai. The UP government aims to bring IT within the reach of the common man and to make it the destination for investment by major global players. For this, a UP government delegation had interactions with the Maharashtra government.

Lotus Development Corp. will be vendor for the groupware and messaging solution to be implemented by Cyberspace Infosys Ltd. which is a partner for the Lotus Authorised National Support Centre.
