New Delhi: ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company has announced the launch of its new child product ICICI PruSmart Kid designed to take care of the educational needs of children through an insurance policy.
The new product provides guaranteed payments to children during their secondary, higher secondary, graduation and post-graduation studies. The plan also covers the risk on the life of the parent. Thus, in the event of death of the parent, no further premiums need to be paid, while the payments to the child during a critical period are guaranteed.
The income benefit rider will provide an annual income to the child till the maturity of the policy, in the event of the death of the parent, to take care of regular expenses besides education.
