In addition, via Citi Rewards, customers of the Citibank Platinum Select and Citibank Titanium Cash Rewards credit cards can also redeem their points to pay off their outstanding card dues or for air travel across multiple airlines in India.

"This new platform transforms rewards from being an add-on product of card ownership to the centre of customer experience, Sandeep Bhalla, business manager, Cards, Citi India, said.

Under the expanded CitiRewards catalogue, customers can redeem their reward points for over a 100 gift vouchers from global brands in the popular categories of apparel, accessories, books, entertainment and dining.

It also offers convenient online redemption facility through tie-ups with popular e-commerce portals, enabling Citibank cardmembers to redeem their reward points for purchases from amongst over 4 million products, including electronics, sports goods, movie tickets, holiday packages, designer perfumes, flowers, among others. Purchases can be paid for through any combination of rupees and reward points.
