One more CoS for Orchid Chemicals

Chennai: The Chennai-based bulk drug manufacturer, Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals announced on February 18, 2004, that it has been granted the Certificate of Suitability (CoS) by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines (EDQM) for its active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) product Cefotaxime Sodium. This is the sixth CoS that has been granted to Orchid Chemicals.

"We now have six of our products approved by the EDQM, out of which four products are premium products with a good market size and potential. We are confident of an increased flow of revenue from the European region during the coming quarters", said K Raghavendra Rao, managing director, in a company release.
