Maruti launches new campaign for A-Star automatic news

To coincide with the introduction of the country's first automtic variant in the A2 segment, the A-star automtic (See:  Maruti launches India's first A2 automatic with A-star automatic), Maruti Suzuki is strengthening the A-star positioning of Stop@nothing, through a dedicated ad-campaign for the brand.

The creative revolves around the power of self belief for the new generation of Indians that believe in no limits. Conceived by Capital Advertising and produced by Little Lambs production, the campaign will be running at very high decibels across major satellite channels, print, web, outdoor and other below the line activations.

A-star automatic also offers choice of personalisation through a special accessory pack (wrapping) that will provide discerning customers a 'sporty feel', and provide them with an opportunity to customise the car to reflect their attitude. Maruti A-star automatic transmission will be available in nine colors and will be priced at Rs4.35 lakhs for non-metallic colour, ex showroom Delhi.

Describing the car, Mauti said in  statement, "A-star's trendy fresh and youthful design exudes vibrancy that gives it an attitude that matches the spirit of young India. The aero theme design has been blended into the exterior as well as interior. It's sporty stance, high ground clearance, widest track and low centre of gravity provides perfect control even on greater speeds. It sports a rally style tachometer, crimson illumination, sporty and comfortable seats add to the adrenalin flowing in the driver's body.

"The trendy and fresh design complimented with stylish looks makes it the true urban car. The massive front grill and flared wheel arches and the cockpit style interior makes it a true companion of the new age Indian. Aerodynamic stance seamlessly imbibing strong shoulder lines and side body lines gives it the vivacity desired by the urban youth.

The A-star is Suzuki's fifth World Strategic Model, launched in November 2008. Maruti says the A-star is a green car and meets the European ELV norms, which implies that 85 per cent of the car is recyclable and is free from hazardous materials like lead, cadmium, mercury and chromium.
