Qatar Airways inaugurates daily Doha-Ahmedabad service

Ahmedabad: Award winning airline, Qatar Airways, has begun daily flights to the western Indian city of Ahmedabad with Flight QR 282 from Doha arriving at the city's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in the early hours of the morning of 14 December with a delegation of senior airline officials and international media onboard.

Doha-based Qatar Airways serves Ahmedabad with daily flights, non-stop from Doha using an Airbus A320 in a two-class configuration of 12 seats in Business Class and 132 seats in Economy.

The airline offers an excellent choice of connections for passengers from India to destinations across Europe, Middle East, Africa, North America and, even the Far East with a modern fleet of 59 aircraft.

Highlights of Qatar Airways' route expansion during 2007 included the launch of flights to New York, Washington, Dar-as-Salaam, Bali, Ho Chi Minh City, Chennai, Geneva and Stockholm.
