Matsushita India undergoes top-level changes
New Delhi: The Indian subsidiaries of the Japanese giant, the $69-billion Matsushita group, Matsushita TV & Audio and National Panasonic India, have made top-level changes.

Mr Kazuo Ogishima will take over as the managing director of the two companies in India from Mr Y Ozasa, who will now occupy a more strategic posting as the head of the overseas operations and exports of TV network & systems division at AVC. His new designation is GM, international sales and overseas promotion department, at the parent company. He would continue to oversee the Indian operations from Tokyo.

AVC or Audio visuals Computer Company oversees the development of audio visual products of Matsushita worldwide.

The change is said to be normal, with Mr Ozasa having successfully completed his four-year tenure and both consolidated Matsushita's operations in the country and implemented the group's cluster management program in the country.
